Samsung is usually the first to expand the scope of smartphone camera sensor technology. It was the first to introduce a 108MP camera sensor, which was soon followed by the Xiaomi Mi Note 10.According to a new report, Samsung will also be the first to introduce a 200MP camera.
According to a Korean news blog, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will use a freshened version of the 108MP Covered to prevent HM3 sensor found on the Galaxy S21.This sensor will have an of around 200MP resolution and will serve as the S22 Ultra’s primary camera.
According to multiple industry sources, Olympus (the Japanese camera manufacturer) has contacted Samsung in order to form a partnership. The two companies will collaborate on an Olympus-branded 5-lens, 200MP camera for the S22 Ultra.
There have also been reports of the S Pen being included with the S22 Ultra, but this isn’t exactly a latest development. The S21 Ultra also supports the S Pen, and it would not be surprising if the successor did as well.
Because the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra isn’t expected to be released until2022, we don’t expect any detailed leaks to appear anytime soon.
