With its embedded sensors designed for small children, the Chinese company imoo is popular among parents.We reviewed the Watch Phone Z6 back in November, and now the brand has released the imoo Watch Phone Z1.
The new watch includes 4G connectivity on 13 globally available bands as well as chat, allowing kids to stay connected and safe at all times.To avoid any health concerns, the Watch Phone Z1 is made of anti-radiation materials that are also gentle on the skin, and imoo confirmed that the wearable has been TUV-Sud certified for safety.
The Watch Phone Z1’s main selling point is its front-facing camera for video calls.It can also take photos, thanks to its 2MP sensor and f/2.4 lens with a 79-degree field of view.The1.3″ TFT LCD has a resolution of 240×240.
The device is IPX8-rated for water resistance, and its hard plastic body means it can withstand a significant amount of impact.The internal battery has a capacity of 740 mAh and can last up to three days on a single charge.
The imoo Watch Phone Z1 is priced at £99/€99/$99/AUD139.The device, which will be available in Pink or Green, will go on sale for the first time on the company’s website between July 26 and August 11.
